Combine the worlds of photography, graphic design, creative writing and fine art and you will have a sense of the meld of experiences that go into my work.

I am an honors graduate in Advertising Design from Paier School of Art in Connecticut. I also sold my fine art work and garnered awards throughout New England from high school age on, and at the age of 20, had my first one-woman show. Prior to moving to California in 1975, I was accepted into the highly acclaimed Connecticut Society of Women Painters, and had earned over 15 awards in juried shows throughout New York and New England.

In 1976, I started my graphic design firm, Brook Design Group in the San Francisco Bay Area. 2006 marks BDG’s 30th anniversary.

In addition to my graphic design work, I also exhibit my fine art work in galleries and open my studio on the Western Nevada County Open Studios Tour each year in October.
