My florals are in the exuberant manner in which I love to paint. I do not paint from photographs, nor do I draw grids to start a painting. The image for my work is carried in my mind’s eye for at least a month, before I ever start a painting. I love to dream simply about color and design, formulating an intention for each painting before I start.
